Goodman Fine Art was established to focus on the highest quality works by a small group of carefully selected artists and sculptors from the United Kingdom, from the eighteenth century to the post-war period, combining artists such as Henry Alken, John Constable, John Ferneley, John Frederick Herring, Thomas Gainsborough, John William Godward, Sir Alfred Munnings and George Stubbs from the 18th and 19th century with "modermn masters" from the 20th century including Frank Auerbach, David Bomberg, Alan Davie, Barabra Hepworth, Ivon Hitchens, David Hockney, John Hoyland, L S Lowry, Henry Moore, Ben Nicholson, Nicholas Party, Graham Sutherland, Bridget Riley and William Scott.
The gallery also offers the works of a select group of undervalued Impressionists: Stanislas Lepine, Gustave Loiseau, Henry Moret and Henri le Sidaner.
We attend major fairs within the United Kingdom including the London Art fair and the Britsh Art Fair at Saatchi Gallery.
The gallery is located in the heart of St. James's art dealing community at 37, Duke Street, St. James, SW1 6DF.
We provide detailed research and advice to institutions, other art advisors, designers and private clients.
In addition, Goodman Fine Art offers support with practical issues such as hanging paintings and presenting works with a network of approved service providers.
We are always very keen to acquire works similar to those we offer for sale. We are also happy to take works similar to those we sell in part exchange and many clients choose to pay over a period of time.
